Blended ROAS benchmarks for ecommerce stores

Blended ROAS benchmarks show whether total paid spend is producing enough total revenue for the store.

Blended ROAS benchmarks compare total revenue with total ad spend across channels.

If a store spends 20,000 on ads and records 90,000 in total revenue, blended ROAS is 4.5. This number smooths out channel attribution, but it still needs margin context.

A blended ROAS target should be built from contribution margin, fixed costs, and growth goals. If gross margin is low, the store usually needs a stronger blended ROAS. If repeat purchase is strong, the store may accept a lower first-order blended ROAS.

Blended ROAS is useful when platform-reported ROAS disagrees across channels or when retargeting makes one channel look better than it really is.
