ROAS, or return on ad spend, measures how much revenue a campaign generated compared with the amount spent on advertising.

The formula is simple: ROAS = revenue from ads / ad spend. If a campaign produced $3,000 in tracked revenue from $1,000 in ad spend, the ROAS is 3.00x. That means each $1.00 of ad spend produced $3.00 in revenue.

Use ROAS as a quick campaign efficiency check. It is especially helpful when comparing ad sets, channels, landing pages, or creative tests that share the same attribution rules.
